Who We Are

The Serendib Connection is a non‑profit organization dedicated to bringing Sri Lankan music, culture, and sports to Northern California. Our mission is simple but powerful: to bridge the gap between Sri Lanka and Sri Lankans living abroad, and to create meaningful, high‑quality cultural experiences that unite our community.

Born from the collaboration of two passionate teams that successfully organized the WAYO and Gypsies events, The Serendib Connection was formed to create a sustainable framework for producing world‑class cultural events for years to come.

Our Purpose

We exist to:

  • Organize Sri Lankan musical, cultural, and sports events in Northern California

  • Connect Sri Lankans across generations and backgrounds

  • Support artists and cultural ambassadors from Sri Lanka

  • Build a long‑term, sustainable platform for high‑quality community events
